Multicultural Program
Tonight! 3-11-10 Thursday, March 11, 2010 is the RES Multicultural Program and Dinner. The Dinner is sold out, however you may still visit the school to see the projects that your children have been working on during the past couple of weeks. The gym will be set up with their projects and activities from 5 - 7 this evening. Classrooms will be closed to visits. Beautiful cards by local artists will be sold to benefit our Farm to School program, and you will be able to adopt a maple tree! Richmond Elementary School is a family and community-centered preK-4 school, serving approximately 300 students, that fosters a life-long love of learning and self respect in its students. We are proud of our teachers and professional support staff as they are committed to excellence and creativity and always have individual student needs at the centerpiece of their plans. RES is known for its exemplary programs for students, including enrichment for all, a multimedia library, an exceptional unified arts program, foster grandparents, individual supports services, a nutritional food service program, an active PTO and caring people throughout the building. We were recognized as a Blue Ribbon School by the U.S. Department of Education. Richmond Elementary is one of six elementary schools in the Chittenden East Supervisory Union. |
